On 12 May, besides adopting instructions to Washington about the military posts in the Old Northwest and referring to a committee, JM, chairman, the Washington-Carleton correspondence about, and Washington’s report on, the Tappan conference, Congress appears to have decided nothing of importance (JM Notes, 9 May, n. 2; , XXIV, 337–40, 340, n. 1). See also Delegates to Harrison, 20 May 1783.
Tuesday May 13. No Congress.
