Th: Jefferson presents his compliments to mr Rush and his thanks for the pamphlet he has been so kind as to send him. he takes it with him on a journey on which he is setting out, and has no doubt of finding it an amusing and instructive companion. he salutes mr Rush with great esteem & respect.
