If you think it worthy of transmitting to Mr. Jefferson, or any other friend, you will be pleased to do it. Should it meet with approbation in whole, or in part, it would be my wish to recieve any additional hint which he may think proper to give. Having no copy, I could wish, if approved, it might be returned to me; if otherwise, it will be of no importance” (RC in same; addressed: “For Mr. Page”). Other enclosure printed below.
