Enclosure: resolution of the Ohio General Assembly, 22 Feb., recommending the establishment of a port of delivery at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River and requesting that the governor transmit a copy of the resolution to the president of the United States (Acts of the State of Ohio, Passed and Revised, First Session of the Third General Assembly, Begun and Held at the Town of Chillicothe, December 3, 1804 [Chillicothe, 1805], 460; TJ to Tiffin, 3 Apr. 1805).
