Geo: Goosely: a lawyer from Virginia, George Goosley had lost his wife earlier in 1804 and would himself perish in the wreck of the schooner Comfort while traveling to Charleston, South Carolina, in 1806 (Richmond Virginia Argus, 14 Mch.; Poulson’s American Daily Advertiser, 4 Sep. 1806).
