Th: Jefferson presents his respects to the Consul General of his R.H. the Prince Regent of Portugal; regrets that he was not at Washington when he visited that place, thanks him for the kind offer of services proposed, and having nothing to trouble him with, wishes him a pleasant voyage & happy sight of his friends.
