Philadelphia, 2 July 1792. In conformity with orders just received, he sends copies of the new clearance form for French merchant vessels. He requests TJ to show it to the President and to ask him to issue the necessary orders to American ports so that these vessels can receive clearance in accordance with the law and sail without impediment.
