Tench Coxe to Thomas Jefferson, 19 June 1790

[New York], 19 June 1790. “Isle of France coffee can be procured in Philadelphia for 18d. or one fifth of a dollar ⅌ pound,” in 100 ℔. packages. If TJ wishes one at that price, he will obtain it. “West India coffee is sold at 15d. and 16d.”

RC (DLC); endorsed by TJ as received 20 June 1790 and so recorded in SJL.
