James Carmichael to Thomas Jefferson, 25 November 1788
From James Carmichael
Le Havre, 25 Nov. 1788. Some days ago he forwarded, by a merchant going to Paris, a packet addressed to TJ and sent by Brissot de Warville from New York; hopes it arrived safely. Thanks TJ for his letter expressing regret for being absent when he and Mr. Collow called; is sorry their short stay in Paris prevented their returning another day.
