[Richmond] 22 Jan. 1781. Mr. Milton Ford is now here and ready to hire carpenters “for the works at the Forks of James River,” and awaits instructions; his brother and father will assist him, if that is proper; Ford has previously been employed for the public, acting with “much industry and punctuality.”
