Sir

I have this moment receiv’d a Letter from my Brother, informing me of the honour you propose to me of attending you as your Secretary in your mission to London.—1

Nothing Sir could be more flattering to me or more agreeable to me in the present state of my personal as well as the public Affairs.— but how much Honor, (unexperienced as I am in business of this kind) I may do to my Country, to your Choice, or to myself: I know not.— if on this point, you are satisfied, I will only say that I am ready to obey your Orders. I am Sir with high Respect & Esteem Your obliged friend & Servant
