1. Cornelia Schuyler Livingston was the daughter of Peter Schuyler, Jr., of Albany and his wife, Gertrude Schuyler. Cornelia married Walter Livingston in 1767.
2. Henry W. Livingston, Walter Livingston’s oldest son, had been a clerk in H’s law office. See “Certificate of Clerkship for Henry W. Livingston,” April 29, 1790 (printed in this volume).
