I send you 800 Dollars in Bank bills & my note for 1500 to be presented to the Bank. You may either send it yourself or I will as you think best.2 Yrs.

2. At the foot of this letter Coxe wrote: “for a/c of Mr. J. B. Churchs purchase, & loan.” Coxe’s endorsement reads: “A. Hamilton April 15. 1793 Note of 1500 endorsed by me & retd. to Mr. Hamilton to procure discount.
“19th. Cash in lieu pd. me 1500 Drs. A
