The Secretary of the Treasury presents his Compliments to The Secretary of State and requests that he will be pleased to cause the Patent for 214.285 acres when sealed & recorded to be delivered to the bearer The Rev Mr Cutler.2

2. Manasseh Cutler, a director of the Ohio Company, at this time was in Philadelphia attending a three-day meeting of the board of directors of the company.
