Richmond May 20th 1790

Sir,

I have had the Honour to receive your Letter of the 8th. instant.

As soon as Colonel Carrington1 shall report to me the spot upon which the Light House is to be erected the cession to the United States shall be compleated.

I am respectfully &c.
