Union Cantonment June 14th. 1800
I have the Honor to inform you, that the Union Brigade which consisted of the 11th. 12th. & 13th. Regts. of Infantry, are agreable to your orders disbanded—They have retired from Service, with a dignity becoming Soldiers, in the service of a free and enlight’ned People—
There retirement from the field has been without confusion, Disturbance or riot, and meets with the applause of the adjacent Country—I hope the prompt manner in which your orders have been executed by The Union Brigade, will be satisfactory
