Dear Sir

Enclosed is a letter from Col. Hunnewell & another from Major Rowe recommending Mr Daniel Bell of Boston late Lieut in the 15th regiment to be a first Lieut. of marines. If there is a vacancy I wish he may succeed

I am Sir with very great regard &c.
