1. H’s company had been assigned at first to General John Scott’s brigade but was soon transferred to the command of Colonel Henry Knox. This return is for a part of H’s company shortly before H was taken into Washington’s official family. It is in the writing of and signed by Jotham Drury and dated “Trentown Decem’r 5th. 1776.”
