Treasury Department, Revenue Office, December 13, 1794. “It being possible that Inconvenience may arise from the want of information concerning the purchases of Whiskey in Pennsylvania, for the military supply of 1795, I have to request a copy of the instructions therein given by you to Col. P. Nevil in the month of November.…”1
