Treasury Department, Register’s Office, July 18, 1794. States “that from an examination of my quarter yearly accounts to the 30th June 1794 of the contingent expences of the several offices of the Treasury Department, that the sum of Two Thousand Dollars will be requisite to answer the several demands which may be made between the 1st. July and 30th September next.”
