Providence, November 21, 1793. “I have received your Letter of the 7th instant. As soon as I have knowledge of the appointment of a District Attorney for this State,1 I will consult him relative to engaging other Counsel in the Suits of Mesrs. Arnold and Dexter;2 and I will endeavor to have them effectually defended.…”
