Mr. Coxe has the honor to inclose to the Secretary of the Treasury, a copy of an answer to certain queries proposed in pursuance of the Secretary’s enquiries, to the consul of the United Netherlands,1 relative to the commercial intercourse between the United States, and the Dutch American continental Colonies.
