I beg once more leave to trouble you with a Letter to my Friend Mr Hunter.7 I do not yet know any other way of sending a Letter to Him and all I have hitherto are on Business.

7. Strange had been using BF as a channel for her correspondence with James Hunter, Jr., her cousin’s husband in Virginia, for at least two years—most recently in April: XXXIX, 405, 497. The last of these requests, it would appear, is dated Nov. 2, 1783 (APS).
