Philadelphia, April 25, 1792. “By the President’s command T. Lear has the honor to transmit to the Secretary of the Treasury, a Contract lately made between the Superintendent of the Delaware Light-house, and Joseph Anthony & son of Philadelphia for a quantity of Oil, which has received the President’s Approbation.”1
