Portsmouth, New Hampshire, September 3, 1790. Has neglected furnishing Hamilton with duplicates of ships’ registers because of the pressure of other duties. Transmits “duplicates of such of said Certificates as have been granted in this District, Twenty of which … are inclosed.”
