§ From John Scott and Others. Ca. January 1815. “We the undersigned members of the legislative Council and house of Representetives do recommend Bernard pratte Esquire of the Town of St Louis as a proper person to fill the office of Brigadier General of the upper or northern Brigade of the Militia of the Territory of Missouri.”
