Library of Congress, George Washington Papers, Series 5, Financial Papers. description ends . This is the first of several such books which have survived. The entries in the day books sometimes give more detailed information than those in his ledger, and occasionally he fails to transfer an item to the cash accounts. Most of the day books are in DLC:GW.
