Report on a Bond Due Columbia College
[New York] March 14, 1786. Reports with other members of a committee to the regents of the University of the State of New York1 the circumstances of a supposed tender of money by Robert C. Livingston2 to Columbia College.

1. At this time the regents of the University of the State of New York controlled Columbia College.
2. Robert Cambridge Livingston was the fourth son of Robert Livingston, the third lord of Livingston Manor. He had insisted on paying the amount of a bond due Columbia College in “congress money,” which the college refused to accept.
