Memorandum

[Fort Cumberland, Md., 13 July 1756]

Memorandum—

Wrote to Captains Hamilton, Minor, Baylis, Fields; and to Lieutenant Neugent—that the Governour has ordered them and their men to be discharged as soon as the harvest is cut and secured: and ordered them to march through Winchester, to leave the arms, &c. belonging to the country.1
