Satterlee Clark served in the army as an artillerist and as a paymaster until his discharge in 1824. Eleazer Wood received brevet promotions for gallantry during the War of 1812 and died during the siege of Fort Erie (Heitman, Dictionary description begins Francis B. Heitman, comp., Historical Register and Dictionary of the United States Army, Washington, D.C., 1903, 2 vols. description ends , 1:305, 1054).
