2. Isaac Corin’s account with BF appears in Ledger D (see below, p. 232). He inserted an advertisement for a runaway servant in Pa. Gaz., Sept. 23, 1731.
3. Stephen Potts (d. 1758) was a member of the Junto, a book-binder, bookseller, and in his last years a tavern keeper. BF first knew him as a fellow employee at Keimer’s and described him in his autobiography as a young countryman “of uncommon natural Parts, and great Wit and Humour, but a little idle.” BF’s ledgers show that the two men had extensive business relations from 1733 to 1757.
