7 March 1812, War Department. Lists proposed “alterations and corrections in the several lists of Candidates for appointments in the Army of the United States now before the Senate.”1

, 2:227–30).1. Eustis noted corrections to the lists of officers from South Carolina, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania. The secretary of war also withdrew the lists of candidates from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Connecticut already before the Senate and substituted new lists for those states.
