I will thank you to have made out and forwarded to me my account with the Bank from the period the ballance was last struck & forwarded. Having lost my Bank book I am not able to name it but I presume it will appear by the books of the Bank.1

1. According to an undated document in the Hamilton Papers, Library of Congress, H’s account with the Bank of the United States was sent to him on June 6, 1795, and it showed a balance of $1,880.25.
