1. This letter, which was written in reply to Washington to H, July 3, 1795, was one of three letters which H sent to Washington enclosing parts of his “Remarks on the Treaty … between the United States and Great Britain,” July 9–11, 1795. The other two letters are dated July 9 and 11, 1795.
