I am in want of about 3 pounds of white Lead which is not to be had in this place at present, if you have it & Can spare that quantity I will be very much Obliged to you & will either pay you for it or return it as you may wish, I am Sir

On 3 June 1813 TJ directed Edmund Bacon to pay $35.74 on his store account with Winn’s firm, Wayt & Winn (MB description begins James A. Bear Jr. and Lucia C.
