Headquarters, New Windsor [N.Y.], 10 Dec. 1780. The places of deposit for the specific supplies required of Virginia by Congress’ resolve of 4 Nov. are to be designated by Gen. Greene “or Officer commanding” in the southern department, who will be “much better enabled to judge of the proper places” than Washington.
