To the Senate of the United States

I nominate Nelson Luckett now a Lieutenant of Marines to be a Captain in the regiment of Light Dragoons raised by virtue of an act entitled an act to raise for a limited time an additional military force.

John W. Guion to be military agent for the Southern Department of the United States, in the place of Abraham D. Abrahams.
