Springfield [ New Jersey ] June 13, 1780 . Refuses Trumbull’s request to write to Congress concerning the payment of Connecticut cattle feeders. Appreciates Trumbull’s efforts “to give relief to our distresses.” States that the enemy is still at “Elizabeth Town point.” Df , in writing of H, George Washington Papers, Library of Congress.
