Acknowledged in Eustis to Webster, 12 Oct. 1812, as having been received and transmitted to Erastus Granger, agent for the Six Nations in New York, “with the inclosed Talk” and with instructions “to enquire into the facts therein stated” and “to keep the Indians quiet if possible” (DNA: RG 75, LSIA).
