Concord, District of New Hampshire, 19 July 1793. He encloses a copy of The Female Guide, which he claims the right to as proprietor and has deposited in the clerk’s office of this district, for deposit in the office of the Secretary of State, agreeably to act of Congress.

George Hough (1757–1830), a native of Connecticut, was a printer and newspaper publisher in Windsor, Vermont, and subsequently in Concord, where he was also the postmaster, 1793–1802, and member of the state House of Representatives, 1815–16 (James O. Lyford, ed., History of Concord, New Hampshire, 2 vols. [Concord, 1903], ii, 1017–19, 1357, 1362).
