From Benjamin Blunt

[Southampton County] 18 May 1781. Returned “some time since” a state of the militia in Southampton co.; fears it has miscarried and encloses another return, dated 26 Mch. 1781, at which time there were 56 commissioned officers, 723 privates over 18 years of age and 71 under 18 in the militia of that county.
