Amsterdam, 26 June 1788. Inform TJ that they “have now in hands about Ten Thousand Guilders in favor of the United States,” which they stand ready to remit on TJ’s directions if he wishes to dispose of it.

RC (DLC); in a clerk’s hand, signed by a member of each firm: “Wilhem & Jan Willink Nics. & Jacob van Staphorst”; endorsed.
