<London, April 7, 1773: Has just received the accounts,1 but has not had time to examine them. Has also received Christie on Molleson for £338 17s. 2d., and the papers for Mr. Jesser.2 Will write by the next packet to Colden and also to Foxcroft, to whom his affectionate respects.>
1. The amended accounts for 1771–72 that BF had demanded in December: XIX, 399, 414–5. See the preceding document for what happened to them.
2. Christie was James Christie (Jour., p. 47), presumably the Baltimore merchant who appears in Sabine, Loyalists, I, 312. Molleson, Jesser, and the papers—relating to Mrs. Holland—are all mentioned in Colden to BF above, Jan. 7.
