From Alexander Hamilton to Elizabeth Hamilton, [23 April 1797]

To Elizabeth Hamilton1

[Albany, April 23, 1797]

Lest my Dear Eliza any circumstance should have prevented your departure before this reaches you, I conclude to drop you a line to tell you your Father is considerably better at the same time considering the delicate state of his health generally I am very desirous you should come up as he is.
