Treasury Department, Revenue Office, September 26, 1794. “I have the honor to request that a Warrant for 470 Dols. may be issued to Wm. Allibon Superintendent of the Delaware Light House establishment &c for the purpose of discharging the accounts which fall due on the 30th instant.”1

1. On September 27, 1794, Warrant No. 4068 for this amount was issued to Allibone (D, RG 217, Miscellaneous Treasury Accounts, 1790–1894, Account No. 6194, National Archives). Allibone was superintendent of lighthouses, beacons, buoys, public piers, and stakage for Philadelphia, Cape Henlopen, and Delaware.
