On 1 July 1819 the Baltimore innkeeper Basil williamson sent Hollins a bill for lodging Giacomo Raggi and Michele Raggi. The charges, for 24–26 June 1819, totaled $18 and included meals, lodging, and $2 for a “Bottle clarrett” (MS in ViU: TJP; in an unidentified hand, with notice of payment having been received written and signed on Williamson’s behalf by William Inskeep; endorsed in a second unidentified hand).
