[Philadelphia, December 22, 1792]

The Secretary of the Treasury presents his respects to the President. The name of the person who was employed in superintending the erecting of the Lighthouse by Mr. Newton1 is Lemuel Cornick.2 The compensation to the Keeper of the Delaware Lighthouse is 266 Dollars and ⅔ of a Dollar.
