Charleston [South Carolina] September 22, 1794. “In my Letter to you under date 10th Currt. relatively to the Schooner Hawke, the value of the vessel was expressed thro mistake in the Copiest at 12000 dollars. If it is so, you will please read 1200 dollars.…”
