My Indent accot having passed the Treasury, permit me to lay it before you.1 The specie accot is now for settlement at the Offices, & when compleated shall be immediately transmitted. I have the honor to be &c.

1. The enclosure has not been found. Treasurer of the United States Samuel Meredith sent to the Speaker of the House of Representatives a similar letter enclosing a copy of his account of indents of interest received and issued between 1 Oct. and 31 Dec. 1791. The speaker laid it before the House on 27 Jan. 1792 ( , 2d Cong., 1st sess., 348–49).
