Supplement to the Report on Exports
for the Year Ending September 30, 17901
Treasury Department February 26th. 1791.
Sir,
In obedience to the order of the House of Representatives of the 24th. Instant,2 I have the honor to transmit to you a supplement3 to the return of the exports of the United States of the 15th. of the present month. This contains the substance of the several quarterly returns, which have been received at the Treasury, since the day, on which the former abstract was completed. Quarterly returns from some inconsiderable districts are yet to be transmitted by the Collectors.

1. A note at the bottom of this letter states: “This Letter and the supplementary Abstract of Exports which accompanied it were not received till after the Adjournment, and of course no entry of them appears on the Journal.”
2. The House “Ordered, That the Secretary of the Treasury report whether any, and what, additions are to be made to his return of the exports of the United States” (, 389).
